Most newer vehicles have ADAS systems or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. These sophisticated systems perform a variety of functions to make driving easier, safer, and more efficient.
These systems work mostly with a camera that’s mounted to the windshield. So if your windshield is replaced, it is a crucial requirement that the camera is calibrated properly and returned to its original manufacturer settings. Otherwise, the ADAS systems will not function properly.
Brings the vehicle back into designated lines, in the event that the driver has not used a turn signal to indicate a lane change.

There are several types of calibration required, depending upon your vehicle - Static, Dynamic and a combination of the both. The dynamic calibration requires two service technicians to perform.
